Allow Offline Usage

Please allow for DJ Studio to be used when offline. This would be super helpful for when I’m on a long flight or in an area where my internet is very poor. I like to travel, so these scenarios occur fairly often. Currently, the app opens then stays completely blank; a completely unusable state, other than the context menus at the top (on Windows). I understand that authentication is important, but perhaps authenticating via a local signed file or allowing offline access for like 7 days would be great. In fact, I thought the authentication was already “per machine”.

ASIO !!!

Every program that has to do with music should have an Asio interface. This would benefit the reaction times of DJ Studio enormously. I think it's one of the most important features.

EXPORT PORTION OF MIXSET

Add an option to select a portion of the mixset to extract by selecting starting and ending tracks within the mixset, the export window will show the total mixset time for the extract. An option to remove the starting and ending transition. This is to support efficient workflow when working with large mixsets to be broken into separate sessions or prepared to fit on multiple media.

I would like to have more control of the volume when you add a volume line to the music track. Currently it is very difficult to fine tune an adjustment. You might need just a little adjustment but it jumps from 0db to 2.2 or 3 with difficulty in smaller increments.

No support for lossless or even AIFF?

Guys it’s 2025. I understand that MP3 is great if you’re space constricted, but realistically if you’re playing on a huge expensive sound system in a club, there’s no reason you can’t be using lossless. WAV doesn’t support metadata like AIFF, either. Personally, I keep pretty much my entire library in FLAC or ALAC, but for DJing I keep my rekordbox library in AIFF, because it’s as supported by Pioneer systems as WAV is while still supporting metadata. This tool looks really interesting, but from what’s written on the website, it doesn’t appear to support like 95% of my music files.

Snap to 1/8, 1/16, 1/32nd Note

It would be helpful if it was possible to snap to 1/8, 1/16, 1/32 notes. The ability to sample at those intervals allows much more creativity.

Mashup Mode - More Sample Lanes

Hello, I’m not sure if this feature have been requested but I’m trying to do a mashup, and I need more lanes. Can we have that feature please? 4 Sample lane isn’t enough for me.

Unlock Voiceover Lane From Grid

I have voiceover clips that have sound effects (explosions, etc.) and because the lane snaps to the beat grid, the explosions when they hit for example are off beat. Please consider adding a setting to disable the beat grid for this lane so you can manually move the sample/voiceover clip left or right to any location, without it snapping to the beat grid. This makes sense for the sample lane as well if you’re using one hit samples. Thanks so much.

LOUDNESS LUFS METER FOR ADJUSTING TRACK GAIN LEVELS IN DECKS & SAMPLES

This loudness meter can be used to determine gain/trim adjustment in DB however indicates Loudness Unit both current and across entire track as well as dynamic range to assist DJs in correctly setting gain levels. This also relies on a peak limiter to prevent distortion and clipping on each deck. Example is Waves WLM Plus VST which I have added to my to-do list in testing it within DJ Studio.

Add The Ability To Fade Out The Last Track

As above - I can add in the markers to do it, but would love this to be a feature that can be applied to the last track to make it easier/consistent amongst mixes.

Manual Volume Curves Fades for In and Out

Like in Logic Pro or Ableton; i'd like to draw in manual volume curves and bend the straight line into a curve which the curve amount can be changed by holding the Command or CTRL button whilst clicking, essientially bending it like an eleastic band into a curve.

Tidal integration

Any chance Tidal music service will be supported? They have a stream live feature where others can listen to your song selections. Mixing in the studio to broadcast live would be dope.

New Mix Templates

Are there any plans to implement a template approach for Radio Shows powered by DJ.Studio? Usually, I use an intro or outro or both that doesn't change often and it would be nice to have a template in place with a fixed intro/ outro that doesn't influence auto mix and that stick to the original BPM without having DJ.Studio started a BPM transition to the next song. Currently, I set the BPM of the intro and outro track to the BPM of the mix which has the same effect but it's a bit inconvenient. So, instead of creating a new mix and spending some time adding the Radio brand to the mix, simply kicking off a template mix and concentrating on the music would be more convenient. Hi, I really love the features of DJ.Studio, its quite intuitive - Well done. As a Dj I was looking for software specifically for mixes for Youtube. I'm finding the mixes clanky and levels really hard to maintain. Any thoughts on Controller integration?

I need to be able to get to that spot to set the mix. I can't believe this isn't a part of the program. Even with turntables we had the little dots we put on the records...Wait... DAMN I'M OLD :-) Add Markers Man!

DAW Controller support

It would be nice if DJ.Studio supported a DAW Controller like an AKAI, Presonus, Behringer, and/or SSL. This would allow for more tactile, fine, predictable, and programmable control of the software than mouse/keyboard alone. The more clickable assets you have on screen or the more DJ.Studio is positioned as the "Ultimate DAW for DJs", the more that people will expect it to support things that DAWs support.

Be able to set a time limit for a mix

Would love to be able to set a time limit on how long I want a set to last. Or be able to set a time limit on how long I want a song to play for.

I would like to record and edit my voice (with some effect to make it good, louder, radio style) and save it as a new sample on the go to put in my podcast

RGB color waveform

we need a waveform dispaly show neutral color or RGB color? Blue color= High frequency(hi hat, claps) , Green color = middle frequency(vocal & melodies), Red color=low frequency (kick drum & baseline). because it's very important for mixing. thank you

Set a Minimum / Maximum Length of Song

Sorry if this was posted before - but I would like to set max / min or average duration per song - for my mixes, I prefer a 1.5-3 minute length for songs. Averaging about 2 mins per song. A hard limit is likely unrealistic - but being able to say play at least 90 seconds of each song but no more than 180 seconds of each song would be game changing. (including or excluding transitions)

Edited Tracks - Export mode

Im using DJ studio for some days now. I wonder if there is a way to export the whole mix, in separeted files for each song, but keeping the song we edited as we edited them. For now we can export in separated file in 2 different outcomes : 1) each track are exported separately and exactly how we edited them, BUT with the transition included. 2) tracks are exported separately as original song without any edits nor transition It would be nice to be able to export the whole mix, separated tracks, but with each tracks how we edited them, without the transition. When im preping a set, i first do it all on dj studio, to make it smooth i have to edit some song to erase some sections etc... but then when i want to play it live i want to be able to have those edited tracks ready, and doing the transition myself.

Djay Pro AI library integration

I see DJ.Studio can integrate with Rekordbox, Serato, Virtual DJ libraries - would love to see closer integration with Algoriddim's Djay Pro AI as it is innovating in a similar way as DJ.Studio.

Intelligent Playlist Issue (Rekordbox)

Most of my crates are intelligent playlists. The content (music/video) does not load for these playlist types rendering the rekordbox integration for this software basically useless. Any plans to fix this issue?

Just like Spotify playlists or 1001Tracklists, is it possible to also connect to my SoundCloud playlists? Of course, I can take the extra hop of migrating them to Spotify and go from there. But are you planning SoundCloud integration in your product roadmap?

Leave tracks in original folder locations, save disk space.

DJ.S appears to make a copy of all local media added to studio project playlists, thereby consuming local disk space, several of us have talked about this and would love a solution that would leave tracks in their original locations so it does not use disk space!

I would like to be able to grab the timeline bar and drag the track minutely, rather than the action dragging the track a full beat. The nudge feature accomplishes this but it can be tedious clicking bath and forth. An additional option to not only advance the track by a full beat but to also freely slide the track would be nice.

Auto-suggest tracks for specified set time based on rekordbox playlist

Currently we can select songs and hit automix if we want. But what would be really groundbreaking for DJ set prepping is if we could for example: Select a rekordbox playlist (with lets say 300 tracks) Set desired set time (lets say 1hr) Set desired max playtime per track (lets say 1.5mins) Resulting in DJ Studio AI making a selection of approx 40 tracks from that playlist that sound good together and each with a transition within 1.5mins so we get to a 1hr set. Since automix does millions of possible mixes this removes the limitation of the tracks we put in manually and saves us DJs a lot of time to prep sets. Thanks, David

Setting for Beatmatch Compatibility for Double vs. Half BPM Tracks

Request: I would like to suggest the introduction of a setting that enables beatmatching between tracks where one track has a BPM that is double or half that of the other. This feature would facilitate creative transitions between vastly different music genres, such as from Rock & Roll (e.g. 84 bpm) to Happy Hardcore (e.g. 168 bpm) (or vice versa) without the need to adjust the speed of either track to match. Justification: This capability would expand the creative toolkit available to DJs by allowing them to seamlessly blend genres and tempos that traditionally may not have been considered compatible. It would be particularly useful for creating high-energy transitions, such as moving from Rock & Roll (typically around 84 BPM) to Happy Hardcore (often around 168 BPM), without doubling or slowing the playback speed of either track. Implementation Suggestion: A toggleable option within the DJ.Studio interface that, when enabled, allows for beatmatching between tracks at double or half BPM speeds. For clarity the labels should still display the original speed of a track and some kind where some kind of picto can show that it is a special double/half transition. This setting should ensure that beat synchronization is maintained without requiring the adjustment of track speeds, thus preserving the original tempo and energy level of both tracks. Thank you for considering this addition to DJ.Studio to enhance its versatility and creative potential.

Please Add a Limiter and Fine Tune The Audio Engine

I'm not sure what kind of processing is being done to the sound behind the scenes, but my mixes just aren't sounding nearly as good as the manual mixes I've made in the past, (Traktor X1's mixed on a Xone:92 and recorded to a computer). Part of this I think comes down to too much amplification. Mixes exported with gain set at 0 are just way too loud and have an unacceptable amount of clipping. I'm not amplifying any frequencies in DJ.Studio or adding volume to any tracks, so it's not something I'm doing. Even with the gain at -6 when I open up the mix in a wav editor (Audacity) there is still some visible clipping. A limiter is greatly needed to remedy this and speed up the entire process. Right now I'm having to export my mixes (in wav format with -6 gain), then opening them up in Audacity to add final mastering touches. This is an unnecessary step and it needs to be included in what is supposed to be an all in one DAW for DJs. Studio quality sound of the end mix needs to be a top priority, otherwise what's the point? Also, I tried the export to Ableton option, but it did not open up in Ableton exactly as it was in DJ.Studio. A lot of my bass cuts were not the way I set them up in DJ.Studio, but that's fine. I don't want to export to Ableton. I just want one program that will do everything perfectly and I trust that you will get us there.

Former experienced Mixmeister user chiming in (house music)

Great piece of software! Not quite at the automatic level yet, but very close. Some small improvements needed for that. 1) I love that the beat is always matched in your software, that is huge. Mixmeister used to get it wrong many times, so I had to always manually drag the beat grids. Even Ableton fucks it up sometimes if I remember correctly. 2) No need to play with bass and treble manually, beat swap is sufficient. Saves a lot of time. Still I would like a feature that let's me create my custom transition, and then I can apply that one to my mixes (repeat my own custom treble and bass transitions). 3) The biggest problem right now with your software is the start and end points it chooses for my tracks. Most of the time it chooses the wrong beat as the first beat of a bar. So I need to manually reposition tracks. That is not super annoying as I do it quite fast, but still, manual intervention is required. To solve this, you need to improve your system that detects when a bar starts (not easy I guess) OR, what I would personally love: Allow me to set start and end points manually, which should be remembered between mixes. Then every time I add tracks to a new mix, it uses my saved start/end points for those tracks. This feature is most important for you to add right now, urgent. I think this is solved if you will allow us to manually set the first beat of the track, and the last beat of the track. Then you can calculate for each bar when the first beat starts for that bar. These are the important points for me. BTW playing Youtube songs: Less than half actually work. Something to be fixed.

Drag & Drop Splice samples in preferred lane

I want to be able to drag a sample from my Splice collection directly into to one of the sample lanes. How it works now: I have my Splice app open and select a sample (like a riser of a handclap) and drag that into DJStudio. I see the dotted line in DJStudio, but when I drop it there, the sample automaticly is put into one of the Decks. How I want it to work: When selecting a sample in Splice, I drag and drop a file directly into one of the sample lanes of my choice. (As I am used to in Ableton)

Reset an effect

While trying to arrange a mix, one may need to try different effects on a track to get the expected result. For example, manual envelope adjustments, echo, reverb... Each effect used displays an automation line on the track. It can rapidly become a mess after several effect automations are tried. There is currently an option to clear all automations from a context menu (right-click on a track). I would suggest being able to reset each automation individually, perhaps with an (R)eset button close to the (S)olo button available on each effect in the effect rack.

DJ Studio and Platinum Notes

Would love to see this two apps compatible with each other just like Dh Studio and Mixed in Key. Make it easier to normalize files all in one app.

Multiple effect out +echo and reverb integrated intensity

i really want to multiple effec together like loop effect plus echo effect together with integrated echo echo and reverb having not intensity oarameter to change intensity like in dj so it have to be included

Better FX section

Here are a few suggestions/requests for the FX section, which is still in beta: Picture - left to right: 1. FX (Filter) should be more sensitive, it changes too fast and there better filter on the market. 2. Flanger makes the volume feel much quieter. 3. White noise could be switchable between different sounds. 4. There is still a reverb missing (the beta is again too quiet) and there is still plenty of room for more effects... The beta could slowly become a final. :-)

Ability to connect to a VST like Loopcloud

Loopcloud is a VSTi. so it integrates with compatible hosts like Ableton. it is an (online) sample manager. great things can be achieved with it. integration with DJ.Studio would be great. to get samples streamlined into it. i understand that a DJ setup usually does not involve VSTs as a VST is more for the finer sculpting of sound and not so much as an effect rack. as DJ.Studio is DAW alike it could at value

Save last timeline position

You don't always edit a mix in one session. It would be helpful to automatically save the last timeline/mix position when closing so that you can continue editing here the next time. A corresponding "Save last position" switch to deactivate this would be very helpful in the settings. :-)

Export separate tracks as we have edited.

Please, I need, a way to export the whole mix, in separated files for each song (mp3), but keeping the song we edited as we edited them, with the gains, effects, cuts, etc… All tracks as they are edited, so that they can be played manually live, but as I have edited them (not the originals). THANKS

Stem editing

Can we have the ability to control all of the stems left or right within the transition window? I tried to find a way to do this and doesn't seem possible for every stem within the transition. Am I missing something?
