Add A Locator or Marker Feature

I need to be able to get to that spot to set the mix.

I can't believe this isn't a part of the program.

Even with turntables we had the little dots we put on the records...Wait...

DAMN I'M OLD :-)

This is REALLY REALLY important to me. As i’m lining up different tracks and samples, I need to mark areas of the song, certain lyrics, a drop, etc. and then slide parts of other tracks and samples around to line up with this. I use this in Audacity all the time.

For now I’m using a notepad to write down bar #’s for these things which seems like a shame in such an amazing tool!

I use OneNote, so the info is spread between PC & Notebook wen synced, small tip. But you can use any other todo app. I for example create folder with each mix (wen finished then its zip and archived, after sync everywhere then erase as not needed anymore) in these folder there is everything I need for the mix, sample Ableton export AND text note if needed.

I 4th this. Maybe it’s an old vinyl DJ thing, but what Brice said - essential functionality for DJ Studio, IMO!

    THIS! Exactly this!

I'd like to see a marker feature introduced.

It doesn't have to do something, it just needs to be there so I can set a marker en know where I want to be. I've come from Mixmeister and they had that feature. For me it was the most used feature in Mixmeister at the time.

Devs, would be awesome if you can make it happen! :D

yes this would save a lot of time, also help make notes in each track, all player have this, traktor, serato etc....

its real important. DJ.Studio is suppose to help make quick mixes, you need to be able to mark, intro, budge , refrain acappela, drops etc in each file. then its really easy to make fast mix. No offence for your auto mix, but Iam really populare for my mixing and the auto mix is not really up to what I expected.

And by the way I'm 61, and still do a few jobs, YOUR NEVER TO OLD ;-)
