Leave tracks in original folder locations, save disk space.
DJ.S appears to make a copy of all local media added to studio project playlists, thereby consuming local disk space, several of us have talked about this and would love a solution that would leave tracks in their original locations so it does not use disk space!

We are working on it right now. Problem is that a lot of mp3s have small corruptions in it and need to be “cleaned”. Internally we only support mp3 and WAV. other formats we will convert and put them into our local database.
We have now created a mechanism where we can read the original tracks and do the cleaning on the fly. This code is almost ready. When we release it, we will no longer need to copy the original audio. We also now support all common audio formats.
We needed this as well since we now have our own library and can not copy ALL filkes to our library anymore.
So stay tuned.. In a few days or a week it will be released.

Definitely YES for leaving individual songs in their home location - especially if its on the local drive. !!!
