Yeah i find it way to hard to work with just 2 decks, mixmeister had up to 8 decks and that was perfect, i like to mix 3 to 4 tracks at once and its a pain with this app. This app really needs the function to add more decks, those 2 sample tracks is awesome, but doesn’t work the same, i need more decks or i simply can’t use it for the way i like to mix
Sorry but i still need 4 decks, the workflow you explain is a pain, it takes forever, the AI beat grid messing up tracks (speeding up, like catching up later in the track, something you never see in your videos) in mixmeister i can make a mix within a few hours, same mix in dj studio it takes days, because not having more decks, the AI that ruins track tempos. sample lanes are nice to bring something extras, but it takes away the workflow how DJs worked with more deck for decades

Ive heard many who say the sample deck to be a workaround for deck 3 and 4 but its just not the same. Yes, I can make it work but as a painful workaround to what I want to do to and when I want to do 4 deck stuff frequently the sample decks just get exhausting as they behave a little different and then you need to juggle different mixing tricks to stay within the limitations of the software…it should just be freedom. If you like 2 decks, it can always be there.

It would be nice if they finally start working on this, it is a serious limitation, and i keep falling back to mixmeister. because what they want you to do using the sample lanes is just not working and will never work the same as extra decks. i hear this complain now from so many and i now many just don’t going to use this app because of that. But hey we just DJs that work with 3 and more decks for over 30 years what the hell do we know right

The sample tracks work for samples but I cannot seem to get any editing features to work in these tracks. Am I missing something? It would be nice to be able to edit a third or fourth track.

All editing features work in samples as well. For adding EQ you need to select a sample first. When it is yellow you can add EQ..

Not the same. The ability to add additional decks with transition window would be ideal when mixing 3 - 4 tracks together. The editing process takes too long in the sample lanes

Please have a look at this video, and you will understand why you don't need more than 2 decks.
