Transitions at Beginning and End of Mix

In cases where the start or end of your mix is abrupt (or you just want it to be more subtle), it would be nice to have the ability to transition in and/or transition out of the mix. This seems to only be possible between songs. Having transitions at the beginning and/or end of a mix would drastically improve the workflow by not having making users utilize other software for this purpose.
