Is it possible to have an option where the transition window can be changed to free scaling instead of snap to grid? Sometime the tracks don’t always line up on the kick the way you’d like them to
I would not do that, but I would zoom in and change the beatgrid that is wrong. Nobody wants misaligned beats. The need to go off the grid means the grid is wrong. So, change the grid. Zoom in until you see the white waveform. Grab the beatgrid and correct the position of the beats in the wrong track. We made a video about this as well:
