Stem separation for Samples

The stem separation should be available on every track. Especially Samples. Also for the sake of doing Mashups not limited to transitions but tracks.

Hi Tobias, Stem separation is available on every track:
    1. Put the playhead in the track
    2. Press CTRL/Command A
    3. right mouse click in the yellow highlighhted area
    4. Choose which stems you want to extract

Or just select a part of a Track with the Shift key + drag the part that you want to extract stem from and right mouse click to get the “copy options”

Stem separation for Samples will be released soon.

thanks a bunch. i wasn’t expecting it there. the transition stem functionality has a different workflow i would think it would be better to keep it for samples. e.g. select sample first then on the wave form switch which part to enable disable.

one other thing that annoys me when working with mashups and stems is that samples only ‘live’ as long s the track is in the mix. i delete a track and all the samples disappear too. i would like to be able to collect stems from various tracks in a mashup but be able to delete or hide the original track.
