Dear DJ.Studio team,
First of all, I really appreciate the effort you put into the development of DJ.Studio. It’s a fantastic tool!
However, I wanted to address an issue that’s been quite frustrating for me and possibly for other users who heavily rely on metadata. Before creating a DJ set, I meticulously analyze my tracks using Mixed In Key and Mp3Tag to extract essential metadata such as track name, artist, key, BPM and more. I make sure to save this information in the ‘Comment’ tag to keep everything organized.
The problem arises when exporting a DJ set from DJ.Studio as WAV files. Unfortunately, WAV files do not retain these metadata tags, and when I import the exported set into rekordbox, all my metadata is lost. Since I heavily depend on this information for sorting and organizing my tracks, it’s quite discouraging to see it vanish.
It would be incredibly helpful if DJ.Studio could support metadata preservation during WAV export or offer an alternative way to keep these important tags intact. I believe this improvement would greatly benefit users who, like me, invest a lot of time in managing metadata.
Thank you for considering this feeback, and keep up the great work!
