It would be good if the original BPM could be restored to an individual track. Although it is possible to select the track details and reset a tracks BPM, that only works if the original track had a uniform BPM. Take as an example Dexys Midnight Runner’s track Come on Eileen, there is a change in tempo towards the end. If the track detail’s BPM is changed, it sets a uniform BPM which would be wrong. Then, the only way it seems to be able to restore the original is re-analyze the track as using the Tempo Lane’s Restore mix BPM may restore the BPM for the whole mix, (which is often too drastic), but it also won’t restore the original BPM if the track’s detail BPM had been changed. A track’s BPM is often shown differently in the Track Details, Playlist and Studio views.
