Noise Transitions NOT Exported to Ableton

There are no noise files (or generators) in the exported Ableton project (riser/downsweep/swoosh), so the resulting project will not sound the same exported from the Ableton project versus if it were directly exported from DJ Studio. To help solve this, it might be helpful if the noise transitions were treated as the new one-shots; tying them with the transitions (not to the individual songs).

    Yes thew Ableton export is behind on these new effects. We need to work on Noise, Sidechain AND Pitch control.

    And we release 3 other effects this week as well.

    The more effects we get, the more complex our export to Ableton gets. :-(

      Gotcha - yeah that's so true, I imagine things could get very complex. It's not the worst to throw in my own effects in the meantime. Appreciate it!

      Maybe wrapping DJS effect-backends in a vst would make exports less dependent on Ableton (or any other export-target).

        Well, the more we become a DAW with our own effects, the more difficult it will be to export everything as individual assets to Ableton.

        I can imagine that we need to bounce our effects to the samples before we export them to Ableton.

        You will also come with an export where we bounce all individual lanes in DJ Studio, making it compatible with all other DAWs as well.

        We will not turn dj.studio into a VST, that's too much work for us.

        We will invest that time in making the need to go to external DAWs less. ;-)
