Memory markers rather than Hot cues

This is the way I have always planned out sets, using what I like to call ''the Carrot method'' Its less offensive on the eyes and there is ton you can put down , i usually do one for start one for mix out and in between groups of them to signify mixing in, groups tightly all in once place so it looks like a bluur to signify there is a bass swap coming but im usre you guys have a better methedology than tihs. it would be nice anyway to see it as an option as this is how all my sets are set out, if you can implement an option to do the same thing with memory points as cue points, like one or the other that would make my year, fantastic would not be the word I have payed for DJ.studio too so ye im in your good books :):) cheers happy new year !!!

Erm, if they are memory cue points nd your using memory cue points then thats not overwiting is it? its replacing?

what I'm asking for is my cue points to be EXACTLY where i put them in dj studio. and maybe a button to approximate if i choose to do so,

OLD SETS >ill always be using for my sets (manual)

NEW SETS > ill want automatic

one would assume if im importing trackS that already have cue markers then those tracks should be left alone.

otherwise i have to keep referencing rekordbox to get it aligned and that s why i got this software to essentially allow me to edit on the fly

the rekordbox integration for me was the selling point and that I can sequence my albums over and over again and try different things with little to no effort

maybe a way of implementing this would be me selecting a track in the playlist view and right click and have the option to generate new

    Hot cue makers

    or

    memory cue points

with a warning if it detects them already in the track.

WARNING YOU ARE REPLACING ALREADY EXISTING INFROMATION THIS CANNOT BE UNDONE UNLESS YOU RELOAD THE SET

OR even better let the user undo like you alredy do for cut and things , you can reset the track , but im not going to assume that easy to program, so a warning is good enough for me

So if there is one and one next to it, its usually a bass cut,

if there is many next to each other and the waveform is thin (breakdown) then i know the many markers next to each other in close proximity is signifying to bring the fader out slow becuase its too jarring to do it fast

this is speculation because ill design the set and then memorise it so i can easily interpret it on the night.

    but rule of thumb

lots of markers all next to each other (fading)

one marker to mix out (first one at the end) then one after (8 or 16 etc) signifies bass drop and mix out how you want

one marker to mix out (first one at the end) then one to signify bass drop then LOTS OF MARKERS indicates a smooth transition is required

but its not really that important if i can add memory cue markers myself by clicking your transition box and then add memory markers THEN I CAN EDIT THEOSE MARKERS then expot, then thats not gonna be a problem

Well if Keep your automatic one thats great, if you could allow user interaction with it that would be blo*dy fantastic, as its not a given in any situation is it?

if you zoom into that photo you can se they are varied, if you cant allow for that kind of functionality then i will see what you provide and try it on rekordbox nsd let you know, i can make a video showing feedback if needed
