Integrating Phrases into automix for enhanced transitions

Besides using Genre-Tagging for enhancing Automix feature (like discussed here) I think there is also another idea that could contribute maybe even more.

So I wanted to introduce this idea that could significantly enhance a DJ.Studio mix: the integration of phrases into both automix (but also for manually curated mixes).

Current Challenge with Automix From my experience with DJ.Studio, the current automix functionality not always selects the most optimal points for mix transitions, such as in a chorus instead of a break or outtro. This can disrupt the flow and energy of a set.

What are Phrases? Like some of you may be familiar with, phrases are automatic analysis of different building blocks of a song, such as the Intro, Up, Down, Chorus, Bridge, Verse, and Outro. This feature is very good and already implemented in several DJ software tools like RekordBox, Mixed in Key, and possibly Serato, which analyze tracks to easily and automatically identify the several different parts of which a track consists and can be used for picking the optimal point for (in/out) transitions.

Proposed Solution By using phrase information from e.g. RekordBox the auto mix functionality could be vastly improve the flow of the mix. Utilizing information about phrases—such as selecting Bridge, Down2, or Outro as a transition point— and maybe even combining this with energy levels from Mixed in Key, could allow for much more musically coherent transitions.

(Note: don't know if they analyze Phrases, but Djay by Algoriddim has got a very good Automix feature. It also has an automatic select option for the length and type of transition based on smart data choices).

Benefits Integrating phrases into the automix and manual mixing processes would ensure that transitions occur at more musically appropriate moments, so this could be a game-changer.
