Gain level

I like the software so far but one thing is really bothering me. No matter if gain level is set to auto or not whenever the mix between two tracks come it's going crazy in peak. It's not adjusted well, so I always need to manually place the volume markers and other so it won't peak and sound like crap. Also MixMeister had a dB level scale so you can be aware of where are you standing when mixing, this should be a mandatory update because the most important thing is not functioning right. Automix should correct the gain level of the tracks wile in mix or to have better volume fading...

    Today we opened the beta for all of you who want to influence the dynamics of individual tracks and control the output with a limiter.

    Please drop us a note in the helpdesk button in the bottom right corner in the Studio app and we will give you access to play with it. Together we can make DJ.Studio better!

    The Levels are definitely Jacked...it's not let me output into split files for Ableton either...however, I may just export as WAV and edit in ableton itself

    Hi Nikola,

    Thank you for your advice. We are NOT MixMeister. There is an A of autogain under the VU meter and that activates Autogain.

    We are now working on a compressor and a limiter on the master channel. We hope to release it soon.

      Thanks for response Mr. Dijkstra. I know for autogain, but I don't like it (it kills dB too much), in my opinion better idea is like you said to have some kind of limiter if not able to get better adjusted volume transition in simple crossfade.

      The concept of the software is amazing and I am going to purchase it when trial ends most probably, I'm just concerned how fast you will implement some of these things in future, like stems, better transitions for other genres, vst's etc.. BR, Nikola

        Both the compressor and limiter are in the development version. We now need to add a Master tab where you can tweak the settings and then we can release it.

        We are working on stem separation, which is taking a lot of resources. I hope to get it done next week.
