Currently bar numbers are displayed, but if I’m working on a mix where I’m working with blocks of 8 (8 bars / 32 beats) I need to keep calculating/counting to try and figure out where 8 bars are. If I changed the starting position of a track then the bar numbers still reflect the original bar number.
An easy way to identify or mark patterns within the track, mark bars in blocks of 4/8/16/32.
e.g. I make Aerobic Step tracks for personal use in the gym. For Aerobic Step we work with blocks of 32 beats (8 bars) Everything that’s mixed must fit with this “32 beat box”. It becomes very tedious to go through the music to count beats until I find where I want to be within the track (and I suck at math). I have had times where I was sitting looping in one spot for a long time to try and find the correct placement.
