In the settings, it would be helpful to have the option to “lock” the bpm range so that if I set it to be 70-140, when the application analyses a new set of files it would know that 200 bpm is impossible (because I told the application that my range is between 70 and 140) so it would “know” that the bpm is actually 100 and not 200. This is because it seems that when in doubt, DJ.Studio (don’t worry they all do this) will tend double the actual bpm value. Because most of my music is in the lower bpm range (say 50-110), I’d rather fix 100 files that were set too low than set 5000 files that were set too high.
So in the settings, if I set the flag to “Lock BPM range”, DJ.Studio would always put the lower value unless it is absolutely certain that the bpm is really on the higher range. Not setting the flag to “On” wouldn’t change the behavior that is in place now.
